UAB “Green Factory Baltic” Project Announcement

On September 18, 2023, UAB “Green Factory Baltic” (hereinafter referred to as the Project Implementer) signed a funding agreement to implement the project “Investments in Agricultural Product Marketing and Processing by UAB ‘Green Factory Baltic,’” Project No. 17PP-KK-22-2-05469-PR001.

The project is being implemented under the Lithuanian Rural Development Programme 2014–2020, following the measure “Investments in Tangible Assets” and its sub-measure “Support for Investments in Agricultural Product Processing, Marketing, and/or Development,” as outlined in the rules approved by the Lithuanian Minister of Agriculture on June 11, 2019 (Order No. 3D-356).

Project Goals and Innovations

The key innovation of this project involves the implementation of a production line powered by renewable energy and modern technologies. This includes improvements in processing and marketing processes, which will:

  • Increase production volumes and product quality,
  • Enhance the company’s competitiveness and customer appeal,
  • Improve operational efficiency,
  • Reduce costs and waste, and
  • Create added value.

Planned initiatives include installing a solar power plant and introducing a new, innovative vertical dosing and packaging line for salads, utilizing the latest equipment and technologies.

The project aims to boost the growth, sustainability, and competitiveness of UAB “Green Factory Baltic” through innovations driven by renewable energy and modern technological advancements.

Funding Details

The total funding for the project amounts to up to €389,342.00, including:

  • Up to €330,940.70 from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development,
  • Up to €58,401.30 from the Lithuanian State Budget.
